HISTORY

Since the ’70s, Atlanta’s Cheetah Lounge has set the standard in adult entertainment for the Southeast. The Cheetah’s contemporary environment, award-winning service staff, and 300 beautiful dancers welcome a loyal local fan base, business clientele, and conventioneers.

Recognizing a special niche for an upscale, hassle-free, and customer-friendly environment in the adult entertainment business, Cheetah owner Bill Hagood launched the original Cheetah Lounge in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Following the success of the Kenosha club, Bill opened the Cheetah III in Pompano Beach, Florida, in 1974. In 1977, Bill seized the opportunity to bring world-class adult entertainment to Georgia and located his first Atlanta club at Peachtree & 8th Streets in Midtown. Ten years later, The Cheetah moved to its current location only a few blocks away on Spring Street.

Since then The Cheetah has seen growth, renovations, and updates, including, in 2001, the addition of in-house fine dining with the opening of Alluvia Restaurant, garnering the praise and attention of local food critics, gourmands, and foodies throughout Atlanta. Most recently, The Cheetah has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation that includes top-of-the-line sound, lighting, and furniture. The goal of The Cheetah is to continue to raise the bar in entertainment and to provide an unmatched experience to patrons.

Bill Hagood and Jack Braglia remain convinced that gentlemen’s clubs should be fun, relaxing, and sophisticated without the ‘champagne-hustle’ and cash-grabbing hassle of lesser strip clubs. The Cheetah leads the way in creating an upscale hedonistic environment unmatched by any adult club in the South… southern hospitality at its very best.
